On January 25th, 2001 I began this journal. On March 12th, 2007, I wrote what was supposed to be my last post. The, the inevitable happend. I found myself cut off from a readership. I was casting digital stones into a virtual pool and leaving no ripples. So, I came back. Slowly at first, posting with growing frequency on filters and behind locked doors. Now I am back almost full time, posting out in the open again. Pictures, politics, people and places... nothing escapes my limited experience and boundless enthusiasm. Okay, so I might be exaggerating a bit on the enthusiasm thing. In any event, like my friend

featherynscale says, "Some days it's philosophy. Some days, it's flying monkeys. I never really know which it will be." Only I do more pictures than monkeys. Usually.Points about me that might be handy to know: I write like I live, blowing hot and cold as the weirdest intervals. I am an unrepentant heterosexual who has a well developed love of the female form in all of its wondrous variations. I am a staunch liberal and support people's rights to life, liberty and the persuit of happiness in whatever manner best suits them as long as the rights of others are not infringed upon. And yes, that does mean that I am pro-choice, anti-war, gay friendly and supportive of historically oppressed minorities. I am also pro-boot-in-the-ass for people who want to make their differences into excuses. Asshole is neither a racial type nor alternative lifestyle. I shall thank everyone to remember that.
Also, while I invite commentary and discussion, do remember a few small points. First, this isn't a democracy. You have no freedom of speech in my journal, either implied or explicit. You speak here at my sufferance. You want a soapbox? Go get your own journal. Second, I have done debate since junior high and if I don't know the logical and informal fallacies by heart, I at least know where I can go find a list. Trot one out on me and I'll cut you and leave you bleeding. Lastly, respect the opinions of the other people on here. Disagree if you want but flame war each other on your own journals.
